John J. Murphy East U-21 B Football Championship
In a disappointing start to the year we were forced to concede a walkover in the first round of the U-21 B football championship. Granted a combination of injuries to some key players and work commitments didn’t help, but this appears to be symptomatic of the general malaise and apathy surrounding football in the club at this time.
U-21 Hurler of the Year
Omitted from last week’s Dinner Dance report was the introduction of a new award of U-21 hurler of the year to recognise the winning of two county titles in three months. The inaugural winner of this award was Dylan Foley. Congratulations to Dylan and all the award winners.
