INTER COUNTY
Well done to Waterford on a win in the opening Allianz Hurling League game Tullamore, but especially Shaun O Brien & Jack Fagan who were on the starting team. A great long-range point by Jack late in the second half too! Waterford 3-20 (29) Offaly 0-17 (17) There was a nice piece in the program on a book about how primary game schools have enriched the GAA in Ireland for over 50 years. Beth Carton, Kevin Moran & Eammon Fitzgerald get a mention while there’s some familiar Club faces in the St Declan’s photo, shown on our social media.
