INTER COUNTY

Congrats and best wishes to Sean Keane selected on the finalised Minor Football squad for 2024.

Hard luck to Brianna, Keeley, Beth, Alannah & Abby as Waterford Camogie lost out narrowly to Cork in a very close game in the SETU Arena over the weekend.

Hard Luck also to the Waterford Senior Hurlers who just couldn’t catch Cork in a strong final quarter at Pairc Ui Caoimh, where Waterford pulled a Cork ten-point lead back to two, by the final whistle. Well done to Shaun O’ Brien who lined out on goal and to Reuben Halloran and Thomas Douglas who were named on the match day squad.

CLUB REGISTRATION

Final reminder, if not registered you need to log onto www.foireann.ie asap, as you are not covered for insurance in training or games.

GAA

Huge well done to our U16 Footballers who gave a great account of themselves in the inaugural Comeragh Super 10s Tournament in Stradbally, over the weekend. With no subs available, Adam Kearney, Fionn Phelan, Toby Ryan, Jack Mullally, Tom O’ Mahoney, Conor Treacy, Jeff Fanning, Darragh Keane, Darragh O’ Connor & Arlo Barron put in a super performance, pushing themselves all the way losing out to both eventual finalists by narrow margins. Huge thanks to James Mansfield & his family for sponsoring the tournament and to Stradbally GAA for their hospitality on the day.
