County U-16 Division 2 Football Championship
We played Naomh Brid in the U-16 football championship last Thursday and came away with a 3-5 to 1-4 win after a very difficult game. They started the best and opened the scoring with a point. We scored a couple of fortunate goals and added a few points to lead 2-3 to 0-3 at halftime. We played against the wind in the second half and an early goal from Harry Lawton made our task easier. Our opponents never gave up and were rewarded with a fine goal at the end
