Hard Luck to the Minor Hurling Management team, squad including especially Conor, Shane, Charlie & Oisin that went down to Cork in Rd 3 of the Championship.
Losing an All-Ireland Final isn’t easy but all the management team and squad did Waterford very proud including Alex Healy, Maggie Gostl, Aoife Connolly and Mya Kelly from our Club. Played in Nolan Park, the girls went down 0-10 to Tipperary’s 2-09 in the All-Ireland A Camogie Final.
Well done to the Waterford Senior Camogie Team on a six point win over Limerick away in the Munster Championship. Brianna saved a penalty in the first half in addition to two other super saves whilst Beth contributed six points from frees and one from play. Well done to Brianna, Allanah, Keeley and Beth.
GAA
Congratulations to Josh McDonald who was under 6/7 hurler of the week, well done Josh, well deserved.
Hard Luck to our Feile Footballers who went down to Tramore 0-2 to 1-1, in the Division 2 Final. At half time, we led 0-2 to 0-0, but with a very strong cross wind, it was difficult footballing conditions with the lads battling all the way to the final whistle.
Our Minor hurlers went down to Roanmore 1-10 to 2-14 in the Group A League game, hard luck lads.
