INTER COUNTY
Well done to Waterford U16 Camogie on two wins from two in the U16A Shield Championship, the latest v Derry. Congrats to all the girls, but especially Emily, Jodie, Shayla and Jayne.
A good win by Waterford hurlers in the Celtic Challenge v Clare, congrats to all but especially Matthew Mullally, Charlie O’ Callaghan and Oisin Power .
Well done to the U20 hurlers on a nice Championship win over Limerick, but especially Kevin Moran, Daniel Lalor, Conor Keane, and Jack Twomey.
Well done to all the Waterford Masters, but especially Lee Hayes who Captained Waterford to a good win over Wicklow in Gracedieu and scoring 0-1. Waterford 2-9, Wicklow 1-11.
CAMOGIE
Well done to our U12 Red squad & mentors Nicola & Breda who had a great morning at the grading blitz in An Rinn. The girls played games against Cappoquin, An Rinn and St Annes. Thank you very much to Niamh in Waterford Camogie for organising. Thanks also to An Rinn for hosting and to the excellent young whistlers who gave up their morning. Big thanks to all the parents for getting the girls there and for all the support.
Well done also to our U12 whites who played Gailltír and Butlerstown in the grading blitz in Cleaboy. Great work rate by all the teams in the heat. Thank you to Trevor and Grainne for looking after the girls and thanks to Tomaz for providing refreshments. You were all excellent girls, the future is very bright in De La Salle Camogie, with all our young Camógs.
Our u14 White squad played Clonea 2 in Cleaboy during the week. Great game from both teams, with all players working hard to the final whistle. Keep up the excellent work girls & mentors.
