CAMOGIE
A wonderful day was had by our u12 girls at the Caman2Munster 120 at TUS Gaelic grounds in Limerick. Twenty-four players and two supporters from our u12 squad travelled with the girls were given a tour of the dressing room and facilities. They had their lunch then our white squad captained by Sheila played Fr O'Neills Cork. Next up our red squad captained by Abbie K played Silvermines Tipperary. The girls then collected their Caman2Munster gear and managed to browse and purchase some more jerseys, jumpers, and bags. Last up our 12 whites started, and our 12 reds played the 2nd half against Bruff Limerick with some fantastic points being scored into the stands. Absolutely fabulous skills on show from all the young teams today. Huge thanks to Trevor, Anthony, Grainne, Sarah, and Dawn for looking after the girls. Our girls had a great time celebrating the Camogie Associations 120-year anniversary.
Huge well done to our u14 Red squad who played a superb A cup semi-final against Butlerstown. Fantastic teamwork from every girl with some brilliantly worked scores. Onto the County final for this great bunch. Well done girls, mentors and supporters Thank you to Butlerstown for a great game.
A big well done also to our u14 White squad who had a great game against Gailltír in the D cup semi-final. This was a battle from start to finish, with both teams giving their all and the White squad grinding out a great victory. Thank you to Gailltír for a great game. Another u14 county final to look forward to. Keep up the excellent work girls & mentors and thank you to all the supporters for cheering on the girls
