Our three U13 squads were all in action over the weekend at three different venues the reds, whites & stripes squads. Well done girls, mentors & supporters for all your support for the various squads.
Well done to our U15A red squad who got there campaign off to a good start away midweek in and to our U15C White squad who also got off to a good start at home to Dungarvan.
GAA
Despite the inclement weather, there was great fun & excitement at Sunday’s U7 Hurling Blitz in Gracedieu with teams from Passage, Kilmacow, Piltown, O’Loughlins, Stradbally, Mooncoin, Butlerstown & Blackwater & of course De La Salle GAA Clubs. Well Done to Eamonn Fitzgerald and all involved in organising, the referees, coaches, mentors, parents & community committee.
Congrats to our U12 Hurlers who played in the U12 League Hurling Final on Sunday v Lismore in Walsh Park. Keep up the great work boys & well done to the Coaches, mentors, supporters & parents on a great year.
Hard Luck to our Minor footballers who went down away to Roanmore on Sunday morning in the opening round of their Minor campaign, 4-4 to 0-7.
In the Premier Intermediate Football Group A, Round 2 game the lads will rue the many wides from play, frees & 45s, particularly in the first half where we should have been well ahead instead of 0-2 each at half time. MARC MCDONALD TOURNAMENT
Our annual Marc McDonald tournament took place in Gracedieu last Sunday week. Four teams from our u10 & u11 groups played some very competitive matches with Jake Caulfield emerging as the winning captain, presented the trophy by Anne McDonald (Marc's Mam). Thanks to everyone that contributed to another successful year of the Marc McDonald tournament

WellKids resumed on Saturday in both Gracedieu & DLS College locations, with great fun and excitement by all involved. DLS Gracedieu X91NHEX, happens every Saturday at 1130am for All 3-8 Year Old Boys & Girls. WellKids in De La Salle College Gym X91 DT68 takes place every Saturday for 3-6 year old boys & girls every Saturday at 1115am. Come along and try for FREE with Fun Activities, the kids learning Fundamental Movement Skills, All Equipment Provided and Fully Qualified Coaches.
