U-13 hurling league

De La Salle 4-7 Clann na Gael 1-4

We played our second match of this years U-13 hurling league  with a hard earned victory over Clann na Gael in Dunhill last Monday. This was a very tight game but a couple of fortitous goals saw us lead at halftime. We started the second half with another pair of goals and this made it very difficult for our opponents who battled to the very end.

All Ireland Hurling Qualifiers

Well done to Derek McGrath, Kevin Moran, Jake Dillon, Stephen Daniels, Shane McNulty, Mark Cooney, Fergal O'Brien and the Waterford senior hurlers who eased past Offaly in Tullamore last Saturday and best of luck for the game next weekend.

Lotto

There was no winner of our last Lotto jackpot last Monday night and it now stands at €19,500. The next draw takes place on Monday 10th July. Numbers drawn were 1, 3, 14, 30. There were five winners of €20 each.

Condolences

U-11 Hurling

Our SDCU sponsored U-11 B team recorded two good wins over Ballygunner and Butlerstown in recent weeks. This team consists mainly of U-10 players and their mentors have been working hard with this group of players all year.

Well done to all involved.

De La Salle Activity Group

Indoor Bowls will continue every Thursday in Gracedieu starting at 7pm and finishing at 9.30pm All supporters and retired members are invited to participate. It is great fun so why not come along and try it out. We have a fine club house and a céid míle fáilte is extended to all.
