CAMOGIE
Hard Luck to our 13 Camogie teams who went down to Gaultier and Mount Sion over the weekend with great performances on display, regardless.
There are some great photos by John O’ Neill on our social media of our 5-11 to 0-5 win over St Anne’s in the Waterford Senior Camogie Semi Final, with goals from an Abby Flynn hat trick, Niamh Murphy and Maggie Gostl. Well done girls and hard luck to our opponents. A speedy recovery to Holly Ryan who picked up an injury and best wishes to our Senior girls & management team in next Saturday’s County Final at 2pm in Walsh Park. Time for all our supporters to get the white and red out once again & show our support for this fantastic group of girls & management team.

GAA
Well done to Bobby Nolan, last weeks under 6 hurler of the week. Bobby never misses training and as a result is one of our most improved players. Well done Bobby and keep up all the hard work.
Hard luck to our Minor footballers who went down to 0-5 to Clan na Gael’s 2-6 in the Division 3 Semi Final in St Saviours. Playing against a very strong wind, it was all to play for at half time, but a strong Clan na Gael defence proved difficult to penetrate in the second half. Well done and thanks to the squad and management team for a great season.
Well Done to everyone involved in organising the U10 Inter County Festival of Hurling held in Gracedieu recently. Twelve Clubs participated from four Counties in a fantastic day of skills on display, in a fun filled atmosphere. A huge well done to Ian Flynn on the organising and to Alan Duke who managed the traffic on the day with Alan Dillon. The day couldn’t have been such a success without the great support from Club members & parents but especially Tracy & Willie on the BBQ, Danielle, Freya, Jenny, Kerrie, Izzy in the shop, Megan Duke & Tommy Ryan on the logistical support. Well done to Billy & his team on having the pitches in top shape, all the lads that reffed, the parents & especially the coaches and mentors of the visiting teams. As always, a big thanks to John O’ Neill for some great photos on the day, appreciated

SPONSORED WALK
Well done to everyone who turned out, despite the weather, for the Juvenile Sponsored Walk on Sunday, your support is appreciated. A big thanks to all who assisted in the stewarding and refreshments. Sponsorship Cards are currently being collected and can be returned to your coach or we can collect on the day! Thanks for your support.
