All Ireland Hurling Semi Final

Well done to Derek McGrath, Kevin Moran, Jake Dillon, Shane McNulty, Stephen Daniels, Mark Cooney, Fergal O'Brien and the Waterford senior hurlers who have qualified for the All Ireland final with a superb victory over Cork in Croke Park last Sunday. We now look forward to a rare appearance in the All Ireland final and the search for tickets for the game against Galway begins now.

Official Opening

The official opening of our Gracedieu facilities will take place next Saturday at 3pm and will be performed by former President of the GAA and current MEP Sean Kelly, who is a very good friend of our club This is a much anticipated event in club circles as we have worked long and hard to provide the excellent facilities which we now have in Gracedieu. It is also intended to officially open the Br. Anselm room in the club house which has recently been turned in to a photographic history of the club.
All club members, friends and supporters are welcome to attend on Saturday. There will be an activity filled day for all players from Under 6’s up to and including adult players. We will have a number of invited guests who will be joining us to celebrate this important event.

County Minor Hurling Championship

Our minor hurlers got their first win in this second round game played last week.

East Junior B Hurling Championship

De La Salle 3-15 Erins Own 1-9
Our juniors hurlers continued their unbeaten run and finished top of the group after this comfortable win over Erins Own last week.

Lotto
There was no winner of our Lotto jackpot last Monday night and it now stands at €1,500. The next draw takes place on Monday 21st August. Numbers drawn were 10, 23, 25, 29.

De La Salle Activity Group

Indoor Bowls will continue every Thursday in Gracedieu starting at 7pm and finishing at 9.30pm All supporters and retired members are invited to participate. It is great fun so why not come along and try it out. We have a fine club house and a céid míle fáilte is extended to all.

Yoga

Every Monday at 6.30pm Yoga for Beginners with Bozena in De La Salle GAA club, Gracedieu. Get flexible, strengthen the body and relax with this dynamic therapeutic workout. €10 drop in or €45 for 5 classes. For booking or more information contact Bozena on 085-1786088.
