IRELAND LIGHTS UP/EVERY STEP COUNTS
The De La Salle GAA & Camogie Community Committee will be hosting the Irish Lights Up and Every Step Counts 2025. We had to cancel officially commencing the challenge kick-off on Wednesday 08th January at 7pm in Gracedieu with the challenging weather but keep an eye on our social media for further updates. The challenge will run for six weeks finishing on the 12th of February. So even if you can't make our weekly walk every step that you take every day during the six weeks will be counted. We finished in 12th place in Munster last year so let’s see if we can do better this year?
So come on and make a great start to 2025. To get involved you need to do the following: New to MyLife and the Every Steps Counts Challenge: Download the MyLife app in the App Store or Google Play Search MyLife by Irish Life. On MyLife go to Social > Challenges > Pending TAP relevant province Connacht GAA/Munster GAA/Leinster GAA/Ulster GAA > Every Step Counts > and find your club….
CONDOLENCES
It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Br. Killian (John) O'Sullivan, Rest in Peace Doc. Bro Killian was a great friend of many of us here in the Club, from teaching us French to coaching the Kerry way of playing football. He will be sadly missed. The Club extends deepest sympathies to the De La Salle order and the family of Br Kilian. Ar Dheis De go raibh a anam.
Deepest sympathies are extended to Brian Cunningham on the passing of his grandmother Kitty Dower and to Thomas Kenny who played for us, Richie & Mary Cunningham and Joe & Cait Kenny. Our thoughts are with all the family at this sad challenging time. Ar Dheis De go raibh a hanam.
Condolences are also extended to the Dillon family on the recent passing of Raymond Dillon, RIP. Our thoughts are especially with Raymond’s brother Allen, sister Sharon, nephews Jake and Sam at this sad challenging time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
