FÉILE
Congratulations to our Feile girls and management team on winning the Div 2 Cup, beating Geraldines Portglenone of Antrim in the Final 1-7 to 1-2. The girls beat teams from Offaly, Westmeath and Kildare during the day. A huge thanks to everyone who contributed to our National Féile 2025 journey and made it such a success for all our young u15 Camogie players. A big thanks to Kilanerin Ballyfad GAA club and Tara Rocks Ballynastragh Gaels for looking after us on the day with great hospitality and facilities. Fantastic memories made by all.
CAMOGIE
We had a super turnout for our Camogie ‘Come Try Me ‘ in glorious sunshine In Gracedieu on Wednesday. Large numbers turned up to sample camogie in our club and hopefully everyone will return again next Wednesday at 6pm. Anyone who missed out are welcome next week. A special word of thanks to all the coaches and helpers who helped make it a great experience for all the young girls.
Our U14 White squad had a well fought win over Dungarvan during the week, well done girls.
Well done to all the management team & squad but especially Brianna, Alannah, Keeley, Beth 1-03, Abby 0-02, Maggie 0-01 & Alex in the Senior Waterford Camogie 4-16 to 2-11 win over Dublin in Rd4 of the All Ireland Championship. Hard lock to Alex and the U23 squad who went down to Cork same day in All Ireland Championship. Well done to our U10 girls who provided a guard of honour for the Senior Waterford teams' run onto the pitch. Our girls played go-games at half time and had a great day playing and supporting the senior team. Thank you to Waterford Camogie for organising these games for all the young players.
ALL IRELAND MINOR HURLING FINAL
Our Chairperson, Johnny Walsh was delighted to meet Darragh Keane, Shane & Conor Power to make a presentation on behalf of the GAA & Camogie Club whilst wishing the lads and Ricky Grogan on the sideline team every success in the All Ireland Minor Hurling Final v Clare. Best wishes lads, beir bua!

Well done to Dagda Hogan who was this week’s U6 hurler of the week. Dagda has recently joined us and has shown great effort and enthusiasm in training. Well done Dagda.
Huge congratulations to this week’s u7 hurler of the week; Kajus. Kajus is showing good skill development. He is trying hard in training and working on skills at home. Well done Kajus, keep up the hard work!
Well done to our U8 Hurlers who had great skills on display whilst having great fun v Ballygunner in Gracedieu during the week. Huge congratulations to this week’s u8 hurler of the week Alex. Aex is always at training and always trying hard, and working on skills. His skills are really developing. Well done Alex, keep up the hard work.
Our U9 boys played Ballygunner during the week also, in ‘Go Games’, with great fun had by all. Special word of thanks to Br Thomas for the use of the DLS college field.
Well done to our U11 boys who had a nice win over to Ballygunner and to our U14s with an emphatic win over Abbeyside.
