CAMOGIE
Both U13 Camogie teams were out on Saturday. Our u13 White squad came up short in a super battle v Tramore in Cleaboy. This group of girls are getting stronger week by week and it is great to see them performing so well as a team. There’s one more game for this group on Sat 18th October. Keep up the excellent work girls and mentors. The u13 Red team had a comprehensive win v Gailltír with super displays of ball work and team work to earn themselves a spot in the 13A County Final on Monday 27th October. Well done girls and mentors
Our Minor girls had a comprehensive win over Clonea in the Minor Championship Round 1 at Gracedieu over the weekend, well done girls.
Well done to our young junior squad who contested the Junior A semi-final V An Rinn. Fantastic achievement girls, stepping up from Junior C county Champions last year to making the last 4 of junior A this year. Super effort from our 2nd adult squad against an older more physical side who were playing senior Camogie 2 years ago. With 8 u16s, 6 u17s and 2 minor on our junior squad the future is very bright indeed girls. Last but by no means least a huge well done to all our senior girls who made their debut this year
GAA
Well done to our u8 boys who had a great blitz in Gracedieu over the weekend, with fine skills on display. Thanks to all the mentors & parents for all the great work & support
Our U14s had a great end of season activity day at Ballyhass Lakes. A great day was had by all and a big thank you to the coaches & mentors
Well done to our Minor Footballers on a 4-12 to 1-16 win over Clan na Gael in the Div 3 Championship on Sunday.
Hard Luck to our Premier Intermediate Footballers who went down to Brickey Rangers in the Championship Prelim Quarter-Final. Thanks to the mentors and squad for a good challenging campaign.
