County Senior Hurling League
De La Salle 0-18 Fourmilewater 1-11
Our senior hurlers maintained their unbeaten start to the year with a win over Fourmilewater in Gracedieu last Saturday. Fourmilewater made the perfect start and led 1-1 to 0-0after three minutes but we played our way in to the game to lead 0-8 to 1-4 at half time. The sides were level ten minutes in to the second half before we hit four unanswered points to lead 0-14 to 1-7 and we maintained that gap to the finish.
Juvenile news
Our U-14 football team conceded a walkover to St. Marys on Saturday last as we didn't have enough players to field a team. Our U-16 footballers were comprehensively beaten by an excellent Kilrossanty side at Leamybrien on Friday last. This is the first defeat in three matches for this hard working group, who can still make the semi final. They have a winner take all match versus Dungarvan in Dungarvan on Wednesday next. Our U-12 hurlers had a one point victory over Portlaw at Gracedieu on Friday last. This was an extremely close affair between two very committed teams
