There is now less than two weeks to go to our major fundraiser for the year based on the TV show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here which will take place in the Tower Hotel on Saturday 3rd November and is kindly sponsored by Hooper Dolan Insurances and Tile and Style.
There has been a change to the contestant line up as Beth Carton has received a nomination for the camogie all stars which take place on the same night and her team mate Ciara Twomey has agreed to take her place. The altered full lineout is listed and we wish them all the best of luck.

We have been given a bye into the semi final where we will meet the winners of the game between Clonea and Passage. When we play could depend on Clonea’s progress in the Munster intermediate club championship
- East Junior B Hurling Final
We are scheduled to meet Kilmacthomas in this final and again when it is played will depend on their progress in the intermediate football championship.

Results:
U-13 B Round 4 home game due to take place on Sat 20th Oct did not take place as we received a walkover from Cappoquin. We have 4 wins from our 4 games played so far with the final round down to be played next weekend.
U-18 B County Championship Final:
DLS 5-15 (30) Dungarvan 2-12 (18).
This game was played in the splendid facilities of the WIT Sports Campus Carriganore on Sat 20th Oct in good dry weather conditions. It was very close in the first half with both teams trading score for score and it was all square at half time 1-5 to 0-8. Our girls pushed on in the second half really playing well throughout the team and when the referee Martin Quilty blew the final whistle the girls got their just rewards. Waterford Camogie County Board Chairperson Ita Murphy presented the trophy to our captain Lucy Hogan. Abby Flynn also received the player of the final award scoring an incredible 3-11 from play in the final. Well done to the girls, mentors Colin Kinsella and Stewart Murphy, First Aid Cathy Hunt, umpire Seamus Power and to all our loyal supporters much appreciated.

Senior County Championship Final Result:
DLS 2-13 (19) Gailltir 1-17 (20) played in the WIT Sports Campus Carriganore on Sat 20th Oct. Hard luck to our club girls who gave it their all but just came up short at the final whistle. They are after giving us a year of full commitment dedication and hours upon hours of enjoyment. Well done to the entire panel, management team Joey Carton and Derek Healy. Backroom team Colin Kinsella, Stewart Murphy, Mark Cooney and physio Bryan Kennedy. Our U-8 & U-10 squads also got to play go games at half time on the day. Many thanks to Rose Madigan, Charlotte Brenner, Eamon Walsh, Leanne Tobin, Trevor Whelan, Anthony Heery and Brendan Boland for all their help on the day. To all our magnificent supporters for your loyal support for the girls it is very much appreciated by the girls. Our U-8 girls played in the Butlerstown hosted blitz on Sat 20th Oct recording wins v the host club, Tramore, Mount Sion and a draw v Gailltir. Well done girls keep up the good work.
