SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP

De le Salle 2-22

Ballysaggart 1-12

An on fire Jack Fagan scored 1-13 as we had nine players on the scoresheet. Eddie Meaney had a great second half goal whilst Thomas Douglas and Reuben Halloran impressed with two points each.

We loved the new outdoor dressing room innovation courtesy of John Kelly Opel.

EASTERN INTERMEDIATE HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP

De la Salle 2-20

Butlerstown 0-10

A good solid opening performance but our intermediate team that saw an early goal from Brian Cunningham and point from Paidi Nevin. With a first half of physical exchanges, it was a level at half time 1-05 to 8 points. In the second half, Brian Cunningham maintained consistent accuracy on frees and 65s whilst Thomas Kearney blasted to the net after an excellent pass from Kenneth Byrne and Sean Walsh had an excellent penalty save. .

CAMOGIE

Our U8 & 10 girls played some challenge games v Ballyduff Lower during the week with some fantastic skill improvement to the fore. Well done to both teams/clubs.

Our U12 Camogie squads played two good Challenge matches v Butlerstown during the week with huge improvements seen by all the girls. Keep up the good work at training girls and thanks to Butlerstown.

Unfortunately our U14A Girls went down to a very good Tramore team during the week. Hard Luck girls, a great effort.

CUL CAMP

A very successful and enjoyable Kellogg’s GAA Cul Camp was completed last week in great weather. Thanks to everyone for complying with all the Covid restrictions and well done to all the coaches and grounds staff on a super week.
