SENIOR COMOGIE CHAMPIONSHIP

DLS 0-9

Cappoquin 0-8

Congrats to our senior girls on a hard fought win, digging deep to secure the semi-final place. Whilst we were two points up at the first water break, it was level pegging half time at five points and the second water break with six points each.  A great all round team display and esprit de corps attitude by team and mentors to gain a well-deserved semi-final place.

INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL

Our East Intermediate Football Championship got off to a great start with a fine win over Kill. Mid-way through the first half, our first goal came from the penalty spot by Conor Mullane after a foul on Shane Ryan. Coming out from a 2-06 to 1-04 lead over Kill at half time, an early second half goal by Shane Ryan after Kearney hit the post saw us stay in control of the game.
