CONDOLENCES
All here in De La Salle would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Lorraine, Alan, Megan & Ryan Duke on the death of Mr Paddy ‘Stinger’ Ryan. Our thoughts & prayers are with his wife Marie too & all the Duke & Ryan families. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
RETIREMENT
All here in the Club would like to extend Paudge Morris & Jim Keevers every good wish for the future as they retired from St Stephens’s Street School. Paudge as principal & Jim as a teacher have been huge ambassadors of the GAA Club and have coached, mentored & guided many a young boy to become Club members. Both have been two great servants to football in the Club with Paudge captaining the 1996 team when we won the East Intermediate Football Championship for the first time & lost the County Final by a point after a replay. Jim was a sub on that team & both played, coached & mentored football in the Club. While Paudge and Jim were on the panel that won the East IFC for 1st time in 1996, in 2013 when we won the County Intermediate for the 1st time, their sons Colm and Oran were on the team. We are privileged to have both these men associated with our Club and now that you have more time on your hands lads, ye are always welcome in Gracedieu or Cleaboy.
