CLUB LOTTO

The Club Lotto continues to be our main fundraiser during these challenging times, living with the Covid19 virus. Recent visitors to Gracedieu can see the grass taking root and the greening of the new flood lit training pitch. We also hope to put a walking track around the perimeter but again all these plans, to add to our facilities, cost money. If you can manage it, we would appreciate your continued support for the Club Lotto, which can be entered online at following link; http://www.delasallegaa.ie/lotto/lotto.html Thanks!

COVID 19 PRECAUTIONS

Whilst training continued last week under the Covid19 Level Three Guidelines, thanks to parents and players for diligently complying with the necessary precautions. Whilst we await further Government updates on restrictions, just a gentle reminder to continue the diligence with the online Covid19 health questionnaire confirmation and in particular regular hand sanitisation and physical distancing.

COUNTY FINALS

Another former Club man winning County Finals, this time in Australia. Congrats to Eoin Madigan, son of Club stalwart Rose who was last night awarded Western Australia Hurling Player of the Year. Eoin plays for Sarsfields, who won the Senior County Championship earlier in the month v Shamrocks with Eoin scoring a point, to win five in a row.

INTER COUNTY

Well Done to our club members Brianna O ‘Regan, Beth Carton, Keeley Corbett Barry, Abby Flynn & Fergal O'Brien in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship clash between Waterford and Kilkenny. Nothing could separate the sides in the first half but unfortunately Kilkenny proved the stronger in the second-half as we went down to a score line of 0-15 to 0-8. Abby and Beth threatened throughout with Beth converting five frees.
