To all our players, mentors, parents, volunteers and supporters: De La Salle GAA club would like to wish you and your family a happy, healthy and safe Christmas in these strange times.

We would like to thank you for your help and support both on and off the field in 2020. Thanks to your efforts we were successful in implementing all Covid guidelines and as a result managed our return to train and play in a safe manner.

While we may not have had as many successes on the field as we would have wished, 2020 has certainly put into perspective what is important in life namely health, family and friends. It also helped us realise that we are building a wonderful sense of community in De La Salle where supporting and looking out for each other was in evidence this year more than any.

We hope to develop this community spirit more over the coming years We must also thank you for your continued support of the Club Lotto as our only source of fundraising income this year and the increase in online sales has been very heartening for all in the club as we endeavour to provide the best facilities for our club. These facilities we feel will help contribute to our on field success in the coming years.

The development of our new floodlit all weather grass field has continued throughout the year and is very nearing completion. We would like to take a moment to remember all those who have passed to their eternal rest this year and as a club we would like to pay our most sincere respects to their families as we may have not been able to do so in person. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.

Finally, we would like to wish you and your family a happy, healthy and most importantly safe Christmas and prosperous New Year. We look forward to seeing all our players and their families in the fields of Gracedieu and Cleaboy in the New Year when hopefully things will have returned to normal.

Take care of yourself and each other,

De La Salle Abu, De Le Salle Club Executive
