SUZANNE WYMBERRY, CHAIR COMMUNITY COMMITTEE
This week we put some ‘probing’ questions to Suzanne to help you all get to know her as Chair of the new Community Committee.
1. Family Members? I am married to Kieran and we have three children Aaron, Rory & Emily. I am originally from Waterford and loves me county! 2. What you work at? I work at MSD located in Ballydine, Tipperary as a Quality Lead where we develop and supply the active ingredients and final formulated product for a range of innovative medicines. We have plenty of banter and crack up there during the hurling championships. 3. Club Connections? Kieran played underage for De La Salle and our sons started playing hurling for the club when they were in St Declan’s. Over the years we have made many great friends in the club and have been fortunate to enjoy some great weekends away with the Feile over the years. 4. Favourite Inspirational saying? Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today! 5. Proudest Achievement? My three children Aaron, Rory & Emily. 6. Biggest Disappointment? My love for hurling really started in my early twenties when I started going to matches. I never played, but I know I would have loved playing Camogie, so I guess that’s a bit of a disappointment for me. 7. Funniest thing you have seen GAA? Gerry Maguire’s pitch invasion after De La Salle beat Ballygunner in the Under 15 Semi Final last year. You had to be there! 8. Favourite Sport Celebrity & Why
Roger Federer. One of the best tennis players of all times. 9. Favourite Netflix movie or series? The Crown. 10. Favourite Film All Time? Feel good movie for me every time. Gerry McGuire is right up there. 11. Favourite recreation activity? Tennis. I am a member of St. Anne’s Tennis Club and cannot wait to get back playing! 12. Favourite Food? Anything that’s handed to me that I don’t have to cook myself! 13. Which celebrity would you invite to a dinner? Marty Morrissey! I reckon he would be a good guest at the dinner table and would have plenty of entertaining stories. 14. Top of your Bucket List? Right now, it’s very basic I would like nothing more than to go out to a nice restaurant and enjoy a nice meal that I haven’t cooked myself. That would be just fabulous. Think we all agree with Suzanne on that one!
