HEALTHY CLUBS

Again, another great turn out again at the Community Committee 5km walk last Wednesday. The walk starts at 7pm from the Cleaboy car park and stay posted to social media & Whatsapp Groups for updates. Let's keep our Salles active.


CLUB MEMBERSHIP

As the playing season approaches, there are still several GAA & Camogie memberships outstanding. It must be paid to ensure insurance cover. You can pay through our online system at www.foireann.ie and any queries contact our Club Registrar Deirdre Byrne on 086 0825005.

CAMOGIE

Congrats to Maggie Gostl, Isobel Boland, Mya Kelly, Kayleigh Kirby, Ella Holohan, Leah Browne, Abbie Mullane and Alex Healy who have been selected for the Waterford U16 Panel 2022. Well Done to Waterford Minor A who defeated Clare in the Championship with Allannah McNulty, Alex Healy, Caoimhe Mulvaney & Luda Mooney in the squad.  Well done to Briana, Keeley, Beth, Niamh and Abby on a dominant win v Kilkenny in the Div 2 League and now through to the Knockout stages. Vice-Captain Beth Carton scored an impressive five points. Congrats also to Abby Flynn on receiving a Third level Camogie All Star a place on the All-Star Team. Abby was on fire this season for DCU claiming the Ashbourne Cup earlier in the month.
Well done to Emily Butler, Kate Winkle and Shayla Condon who played for Waterford in the first round of U14 football.


GAA


The juveniles are making huge improvements in their indoor training phase and well done to Finn Hoban DLS College and Sean Jacob Butler's Hall U7 Players of the Week. Well done to Ben Cunningham Butlers Hall Training Location and Liam Browne DLS College location, U8 Players of the Week also. Well done to the Coaches and parents as they are all making huge advances in the skills of hurling.  

Congrats to Toby Ryan, Shane Power, Conor Power, Darragh Keane, & Darragh Doyle who are on the Waterford U14 Hurling Development Squad and best wishes to Leon Mullally who's a part of the Management Team.   

Great to see Seaghan Walsh on the TV in his capacity as the fourth official as Cork beat the All Ireland Champions Limerick, well done Seaghan. 

Well Done to Shaun O' Brien and Jack Fagan who played for Waterford in a two point defeat of Antrim. Shaun saved a penalty with a vital touch diverting the bar over the bar to deny Antrim a draw.
