CLUB LOTTO
There was no winner in this week's Lotto with numbers drawn 8, 11, 22, 28. The Next Draw is Monday 28/3/22 for €3,750 Jackpot. CAMOGIE
Hard Luck to the Waterford U16 Camogie team who went down to Cork and well done to all our girls who were involved Maggie Gostl, Isobel Boland, Mya Kelly, Kayleigh Kirby, Ella Holohan, Leah Browne, Abbie Mullane (joint captain) & Alex Healy. Well done to the Ursuline Secondary school on a good win 1-13 to 0-14 in there Munster Schools Junior A plate final against Cashel during the week. Special shout out to our girls representing their school; Katie Evans, Ella Holohan, Caoimhe Mulvaney (joint captain), Kayleigh Kirby, Leah Browne, Emily O Mahony (joint captain), Alex Healy & Aoife Connolly. Well done to all involved.
GAA
Hard Luck to Waterford Hurling team including Shane McNulty, Jack Fagan and Shaun O' Brien who went down to Kilkenny at the weekend but advance to League semi-final v Wexford next weekend. Well Done to Jack on getting on the score board too. Unfortunately, our U15 Footballers had to withdraw from the Feile Competition at the weekend due to a number of players in the squad coming down with Covid, and we wish them all a speedy recovery.
DLS BABY
This weekend we had a unique double DLS Baby Presentation. Baby Nell (parents Sarah and Dean) along with her cousin Baby Thea, (parents Barry & Martina) became the latest De La Salle Babies. Four generations of the Twomey family were present for the presentations by Suzanne Wymberry on behalf of the Community Committee.
