COMMUNITY COMMITTEE

Reminder that our weekly community walk continues each week now at 6pm in Gracedieu. Please note the new time, as we are hoping this might encourage parents waiting around during training, to join in. It’s a lovely way to meet different people from the club and have a chat while getting in some exercise as well. The walk will start from the car park in Gracedieu, so come on and let’s get our Salles active !

CAMOGIE

Well done to some of our u14 girls who played their 1st challenge match against Ferrybank in Ferrybank GAA this evening. A great game between two evenly matched teams. Keep up the good work girls & mentors.

Well done to our club girls, Jodie, Zoe, Kate W, Eve and Kate G who played with the U14 Waterford Whites squad against Wexford in Cleaboy over the weekend. Well done also to Shayla and Emily B who played with the Waterford Blues squad.

Well done to our minor squad on a good start to their campaign with a home win v Modeligo in Cleaboy earlier in the week.

Congrats to Waterford A Minors on a fantastic Round 1 win over Clare Munster Championship and particularly our Club girls Alannah McNulty, Alex Healy, Caoimhe Mulvaney & Luda Mooney.

The club would like to say a very big thank you to Darren (Rusty), Joyce & Lexi Russell all the way across the world in Australia for their very kind donation towards the everyday running costs of our camogie club. Very much appreciated & hopefully one day we might get to see Lexi wearing the DLS colours.

It was a great sunny morning for our Well! It takes place Saturday mornings from 10 to 11am in Gracedieu and you can find out more information by contacting Jamie on 087 41419607. Many thanks to Richard at Major Opticians who kindly sponsored Hurl Òg's for our new Well Kids Salle Òg nursery programme.
