COMMUNITY COMMITTEE

Our Community walk continues each week now at 6pm with complimentary tea and coffee after for the chats, in Gracedieu. We had a very busy morning in Gracedieu with hurling, football, camogie, blitz & Well Kids, Salle Óg on Saturday and a huge thanks to Deirdre, Aileen & Freya who looked after the refreshments at short notice, thank you.

CAMOGIE

Huge well done to all our juvenile girls who attended the Fun Day Fundraiser on Good Friday in WIT Arena, for the Waterford Camogie Premier Junior team. Well done to our u16 girls on a good win this week at home to Tramore in Gracedieu in round 1 of the championship.

GAA

There was a huge turnout for this week's Well! Kids, Salle Og and a huge thanks to all who assisted & helped out. Just a reminder that this is a fantastic hour of fun activities for all 4, 5 & 6 year old boys and girls and takes place Saturday mornings from 10 to 11am in Gracedieu.

Congrats to Luke Nevin our U8 Gracedieu player of the week, who appropriately received the trophy in his Déise jersey.

Hard Luck to our U11 Hurlers who went down to Mount Sion earlier in the week.  Well done to our U10 Footballers and mentors who had a great morning of football v Gaultier in Gracedieu on Saturday with some great photos on our social media. Unfortunately, our U13 footballers went down to Tramore during the week but our U15 Footballers had a fine win over Clan na Gael.

Hard Luck to our Intermediate hurlers who went down to Fourmilewater over the weekend.

We had a White & Blue training session in Gracedieu over the weekend in advance of Waterford getting the better of Tipperary in the Munster Championship clash. Great performance from our fellow Club men with some great saves from Shaun, an outstanding run and point from Shane amongst the two white flags he raised and a solid defensive performance by Jack.
