Our Community are busy making plans for a Family Day on Sunday 10th July 2022. Save the date! There will be a lot of fun with games, music, BBQ, raffle, face painting and of course ice cream. WELL! KIDS, SALLE OG
WellKids resumed in Gracedieu at 10am on Saturday mornings and WellKids for De La Salle College Location started Saturday gone and will be on at 1pm on Saturdays. Great fun was had at Well! Kids, Salle Og Gracedieu Saturday with the National Hurling League trophy on display and some great photos on our social media too.
CAMOGIE
Congrats to our U6 girls who played a challenge game v Piltown, during the week in Gracedieu. Well done to both teams & mentors on great progress with the girls and there's some great and cute photos on our social media.
Well done to our u12 Whites squad who played away to St Annes during the week in Kill GAA grounds & came away with a win. The U12 Red squad played Tramore on Saturday morning in our Cleaboy grounds in a very good game by both teams with our girls coming out with the victory. Well done, keep up the great work girls & mentors.
Our U14 Red squad are scheduled to play St Annes in Dunhill at 630pm on Thurs 16/6/22 whilst the White Squad are scheduled away to Dungarvan, same date and time and our U16s are away to Gailltir on Tues 21/6/22 at 630pm.
GAA
On Friday evening, our U7s met Ferrybank GAA in the College Field. Eamonn Fitzgerald brought along the Dr Croke cup much to the delight of the players. Well Done to both teams on great hurling skills on show. Congrats to Fionn O’ Sullivan, who was awarded ’Player of the Week’ for the College Group. Congrats to U7 Hurler of the Week for the Gracedieu Group, George Flynn. Keep up the good word Fionn & George on great skill improvements, well done.
Our U13 Hurlers went down to Ballygunner in the Championship Group Stage during the week and are out again on Wed 15/6/22 in Dunhill at 7pm v Clan na Gael.
Well Done to Adam Kearney and Tom O' Mahoney who played with Waterford Blue Team in the Jim Power Tournament over the weekend and to Eddie Mulligan Manager with both Waterford U14 Football teams qualifying for the Quarter Final stages. The U15 Hurlers are scheduled to play Mount Sion at 7pm, next Monday 20/6/22 at 7pm in Gracedieu.
Our Minor Hurlers had an emphatic win over St Saviour's in the League and are currently halfway through their Strength & Conditioning training with Dean O Halloran Platinum Fitness too, and seeing massive results, keep it going lads.
