COMMUNITY

The Community Committee and the refreshment team are doing great work with the refreshments on Wednesday and Saturdays. This week saw everyone treated to oranges, strawberries and juice as they took a break from the biscuits, thanks to Sheila and Jenny.

It's full steam ahead with the Family Day preparations for Sunday 10th July 2022. Latest updates are for a Monster Raffle on the day with a phenomenal number of prizes, thanks to our supporters and members.

Do you think you have De La Salle's fittest family? Check out our social media for details of the ten-minute fun obstacle course on the Family Day, with fantastic cash prizes.

CAMOGIE

Our under 10s & 12s girls played an exhibition game at half time of the U16A game Waterford 2-7 v Dublin 0-8, over the weekend in Walsh Park. There were plenty of DLS girls in action in the u16 game with Abbie Mullane scoring 2-03. Well Done to Maggie Gostl, Isobel Boland, Mya Kelly, Kayleigh Kirby, Ella Holohan, Leah Browne, Annie Mullane and Alex Healy. A great day was had by all. Well Done to the U12 Girls on a great win against St Annes during the week also.

Congratulations to our club camogie girls & football coach Eddie Mulligan who won the WLGFA U14 A plate final in Bushy Park on Saturday. A great performance girls, and well done to some more of our girls, in the same squad who played in the WLGFA U14D Cup Semi Final but went down to a very strong Ardmore team. Enjoy the celebrations with all your teammates at Erin's Own LGFA.

Congrats to Beth Carton who moved into No 1 position in the Current Top 10 Scorers in the Glen Dimplex All Ireland Senior Camogie Championship.
