COUNTY CHAMPIONS

Our Minor Hurlers gave us all a lesson in how to win a Championship Final with a phenomenal performance from every position on the pitch. Congrats to Conor Keane on being awarded, a deserved Player of the match. We’re all very proud to see De la Salle crowned Minor Champions, beating Ballygunner 0-17 to 1-11 with 0-9 from Jack Twomey, Shane Power 0-3, Ben O’ Neil & JJ Cahill l 0-2,  Rory Wymberry 0-1. A huge congrats to the squad, management team and mentors on a fantastic result that culminates in a deserved celebratory manner, this squad and management team being together since a young age. It was fantastic to see so many Club members of all ages in Walsh Park for the final, despite the clash with Camogie fixtures. There are some great photos, on our social media if you haven’t seen them already.

COMMUNITY COMMITTEE

The coffee truck was a great success & when it stopped the community committee set-up a refreshments team which has proved a great success every Wednesday & Saturday. To expand the services in the club, the community committee have hired a coffee machine for a trial period. It serves Americano, Cappuccino, Latte, Double Expresso, Mocha, and hot Chocolates! Over the winter months the goal is to open the clubhouse so that parents can catch up with other parents enjoying a cuppa during training. To cover the costs associated with the hire and running of the machine there will be a charge for coffee & teas starting from this evening. We hope people understand. We will continue with our complimentary biscuits and fruit.

CLUB LOTTO

There was no winner in this week’s Lotto Draw with numbers drawn 10-11-13-24. The next draw is Monday 12/9/22 for a Jackpot of €6,750. The Lucky Dip Winners were M Lowry, Pauline O’ Sullivan, Deirdre Wilmott, Adam Doyle & Donnie Lawlor. Thanks for your continued support and as always, you can enter the Draw at delasalle.ie
