CAMOGIE

A massive well done to our u13 red squad who defeated Gailltír away in the u13A semi-final. Well done girls & mentors on a great game. A good contest between two determined teams. A county final to look forward to next weekend. Hard luck to a determined and gutsy u13 white team who braved the most atrocious conditions to unfortunately go down to Brickey Rangers, unable to display their true skilful potential. The game was refixed for a very late 330pm which saw poor visibility add to the challenging conditions in the second half! Goals were the difference from a physically stronger Brickey’s team and well done to the girls, coaches, mentors, and parents on a great campaign. Well Done to the u15B girls on defeating Abbeyside 1-4 to 0-5 in the Shield Semi Final.

Three semi-finals were played by our club girls this weekend with two wins in u13A, u15B and a loss in u13C. Well done to all the girls, mentors & supporters for everything. The season continues as we look forward to an U13A county final next Saturday at 1230pm at the SETU Arena Carriganore v Butlerstown. The u15B final will be against An Rinn or Portlaw on Sat 26th November at 12pm. Our Minors play Modeligo at home in their quarter final game with an 11am start in Gracedieu next Saturday 19th November, keep up the great work everyone.

Well done to Niamh Murphy who was the side-line official for the AIB GAA Munster Camogie Senior Final. Niamh is currently participating in the Peter Downey Referee Academy in Camogie, in Croke Park.
