CAMOGIE

Many thanks to all our under 6 & under 8 girls who trained with us this year. There was great fun at the last session during the week, before the Christmas break. There’s a super video of them wishing us all a Happy Christmas, on social media. We will see ye all in 2023, to do it all over again. Happy Christmas to all from Rose, Charlotte, Beth, Niall, Charlene, Aoife & Katie.

Congratulations to our minor squad on a good win this weekend away v Portlaw, result 5-13 to 0-8. The girls are now through to the County A Minor Final next Saturday 10th December at the SETU Arena at 1230pm v Gailltír. They’d love to see you there supporting. Well done girls & mentors.

Well Done to our DLS girls Alannah, Alex, Isobel, Maggie & Luda and best wishes with the Waterford Minor Camogie squad for 2023.

Huge Congrats to Keeley Corbett-Barry, named the WLR/Granville Hotel Monthly GAA Award winner for October. Keeley had a fantastic year for the Club and Waterford being awarded player of the match in the Arachas Insurance Waterford Senior club final and had a very strong performance against Drom & Inch Camogie in the Munster Senior club semi-final. Well done, Keeley.

Our camogie girls medal presentation for our victorious 2022 adult Senior league & championship winning squads will take place on Saturday 7th January 2023 in the Tower Hotel. Tickets are €40 (meal, band, DJ, late bar),with a good night assured. Please contact any of our camogie committee members, to reserve your ticket.

The Camogie Christmas raffle lines are currently for sale with prizes galore. Lines are only €2 a ticket, and can be purchased from any camogie girl, team mentors, committee members or just email secretary.delasalle.waterford@camogie.ie. Draw will take place on Saturday 17th December

DLS ELVES

As can be seen from our social media, our Elves have well and truly arrived in Gracedieu, raiding the cake press and making a mess!!!! Congratulations to Ella Murphy, U10 Camogie on choosing the Elves names...Del and Sallie. It looks like they’ve left a little pressie for Ella, amid the mess. Keep an eye on our social media for the latest on their mischievous exploits, in the Clubhouse.

CONDOLENCES
