GAA
After overcoming Roanmore in the Eddie O'Donnell Monumental Works Eastern U20 A Hurling Championship Semi-Final, the lads played the Final v Ballygunner on New Year’s Eve in Dunhill, in front of a huge crowd. It was an intense and great game of hurling where the lads battled all the way to finish the year on a high. Two points down at half time and a point down with ten minutes to go, grit determination saw us emerge victorious by the tightest of margins, 0-14 to 0-13 with eleven of those from Reuben. It was even sweeter to see our own Eastern Board Secretary, John Sheehan present the Cup to Reuben. Huge congrats to Kieran O’ Sullivan on ‘Player of the Match’ with a formidable performance, and the trophy presented by Eddie O’ Donnell & family. There are some great photos from our Clubman of the Year, John O’ Neill on our social media. We have the County Final to look forward to v Abbeyside, early in the New Year.
