CAMOGIE

Well done to Brianna, Keeley, Beth, Abby and Niamh on back to back league wins with Waterford, and even more special to watch the girls in action on our home grounds n Gracedieu. Beth had ten points with seven from frees and Abby had two in a final scoreline of 0-19 to 0-7. Thanks to Waterford Camogie for giving us the honour of hosting today & next week’s League games. A huge thank you to Billy and his grounds team, all the volunteers and the community & refreshments team who did a fantastic job today hosting the game. A big Happy Birthday to Rory Wymberry who spent his 18th Birthday marshalling the car parks. We do it all over again next week for Waterford v Limerick and again the support of Club member volunteers on the day would be appreciated, thank you.  Well Done to Orlaith Power and Leah Browne who feature in a fantastic R2 Munster LGFA Championship one point win over Kerry

GAA

Our U7 hurlers had great indoor games against St Mary's on Saturday in the Butler Hall, well done boys, some great skills on display. A superb last-minute penalty save from Shaun O'Brien contributed to saving Waterford blushes in a hard earned Waterford win over fourteen man Antrim, in Fraher Field. Well Done to Shaun, Shane McNulty, Jack Fagan (0-1) and Reuben Halloran on a late flurry to win 1-22 to 0-17. The Waterford footballers went down to Wexford 2-12 to 1-6 at the weekend. Eoghan McGrath Butler was on the side line for Deise whilst on the opposing sideline, was our own Micko Casey as a part of the Wexford management team.
