Great result for Waterford in the Minor A All-Ireland Championship beating Cork 3-09 (15) to 2-05 (11) with Maggie Gostl scoring 2-07. Well done girls & mentors, great to see our club girls Alex Healy, Alannah McNulty, Maggie Gostl & Isobel Boland playing prominent roles in this squad. Beth Carton is on fire again this season as top scorer in the league after four rounds with a tally of 2-40, an average of 11.5 pts per game. Well done Beth. nice to see her club & county colleague Abby Flynn also to the fore this season in the scoring charts at fifteenth with a tally of 3-04

Congrats to DLS college player of the week Mikey Coffey, keep up the great work boys. Hard Luck to our u14 Div 2 Footballers, who went down to Roanmore during the week. Best Wishes to all the Waterford U20 hurling squad but especially Conor Keane, Jack Twomey, Daniel Lalor & Kieran O’ Sullivan. Congrats to Conor on appointment as Joint Captain too. Well done to Eoghan McGrath Butler who played a solid defensive role with Waterford Senior footballers in their four-point League win over London. Hard Luck to Shaun O’ Brien, Shane McNulty, Jack Fagan and Reuben Halloran on a two-point loss to Kilkenny with the senior hurlers.

A major Club Family Night and Club Fundraiser has been organised at the Dogs! It will be an opportunity for a great all age social get together on Sat, April 22nd in Kilcohan Greyhound Stadium. Links for tickets are on social media and Clubzap and entry ticket prizes include TV, Signed Senior Waterford Jerseys, and more.
DEISE DRAW
