CAMOGIE

Well done to our White squad who got their U12 campaign off to a winning start away to Tramore, during the week. Great work from both teams who battled in torrential rain and the odd burst of sunshine. Keep up the great work girls and mentors. Hard Luck to our Senior girls who went down to Cappoquin in the Senior League. Cappoquin 5-7 DLS 2-5. Well Done to our U16B girls on a comprehensive win over on Rinn during the week. Congrats to our De La Salle and Waterford All Star, Beth Carton on being named the PwC GPA Camogie Player of the Month for April. Beth inspired Waterford to Very Camogie Division 1B league champions, scoring eight points in a Player of the Match display. This week, our U14 red and white teams are at home to Gailitir on Thurs 18th May at 630pm in Gracedieu.

GAA

WellKids Salle Og has started on Saturdays at 11am in De La Salle College Sports Hall and 10am in De La Salle Gracedieu.  Congrats to Sean Dolan U8 DLS college player of the week and to Billy Flynn, Gracedieu player of the week. Keep up the great work Sean and Billy, the practising is paying off. Hard Luck to our U11s who went down to Lismore in the A All-County Hurling League, during the week, whilst our Junior Hurlers lost by the narrowest of margins to Passage in Div8.
