CAMOGIE
Well done to our U12 Red squad on a great team performance during the week v Lismore in Cleaboy Fantastic work rate right across the pitch by both teams. Thank you to all the supporters for encouraging the girls. Our Club is so proud that Maggie Gostl and Alannah McNulty have been named on the Electric Ireland Minor Team of the Year. Congrats girls, well deserved. Our U14 White team play Cappoquin at 7pm in Cappoquin on Thursday 15th June.
GAA
On Saturday, we had two under 7 teams, 20 players in total, at a Tournament in Glenmore. Well Done to each & every one of the boys, their parents mentors & a huge thanks to all at Glenmore for their fantastic hospitality. Our U10 hurlers had a draw v Cois Bhride last week. Hard Luck to our U11A Hurlers who went down to Stradbally and the U11B team that went down to St Olivers, in the All-County League. Our U12B Hurlers lost out to Ballygunner in the All-County League, hard luck boys. Well done to our U13B Hurlers who drew with Sacred Heart in a high scoring group stage of the Div 4 Championship and to our U13A hurlers who beat Tramore in the Championship Group stage in Div 1. Hard luck to Lee Hayes & Waterford Football Masters who lost out to London by 5 points. Well done to our Senior hurlers beat Fourmilewater 0-25 to 2-15 in the All-County League, Div 2. Our U8s play Ferrybank at 6pm on Wednesday 14th June in Gracedieu at 6pm.

It’s that time of the year again, the sun is shining & fun is on our minds as the Community Committee plans the Family Fun Day. BBQ, Music, Childrens Fun Activities, Community Gardai, Tug of War, Soak the Coach & lots craic. Volunteers hugely welcomed to assist. Sunday 16th July 2023 is the date for your diary.
BRO TIM RIP
Mass will be celebrated for the happy repose of the soul of the late Brother Timothy O'Shea on Saturday, June 24 in De La Salle College's Chapel. This mass has been organised to give Tim's friends an opportunity to celebrate his long and wonderful life. Light refreshments will also be served, and all are welcome to attend on the day.
