LOTTO JACKPOT

On Monday 24th July 2023, there was no jackpot winner in the draw for €12,250. The numbers drawn were 3, 17, 20, & 27. The next draw is Tuesday 8th August 2023 for a new Jackpot of €12,500. Congrats to the Lucky Dip Winners; Golden Girls C/O Sandra Hearne, Siobhán Baxter, Elizabeth Frisby, Francie Dunphy and Sinead Sheridan. ALL IRELAND CAMOGIE FINAL

The Club, Gracedieu & Cleaboy are looking fabulous as we send every good wish to the Waterford Management team & squad, but especially Brianna, Keeley, Beth, Abby & Niamh. Well done to Aoibheann & Don on a fantastic job decking the grounds out in white and blue. The Club has a fundraiser ongoing where you can do another bit to support the girls. Win a signed jersey by the Waterford Senior Camogie team, for €3 per entry with all monies raised going towards the Waterford Camogie Senior team fund. The draw will take place next Thurs 3rd August and you can Revolut €3 with your name to Camogie club secretary Derek Healy (087 2509779) @derekyovk to be in with a chance to win the signed jersey. CAMOGIE

On Thursday 3rd August, our U12D White team play in the Championship 1/4 final v Tramore B with a 630pm throw in, at Gracedieu. Nice comfortable win by our u14 girls (Red Squad) v Clonea during the week too. Well done to our club girls Zoe, Emily, Kate & Shayla who participated in an inter county u15 blitz in Co. Laois over the weekend with Waterford Camogie and played Dublin 2, Kerry, Dublin 3 & Laois winning 3 of the 4 games. Keep up the excellent work girls.

Earlier in the week our U13B hurlers went down to Saviours/Ferrybank at home,  whilst the U13A had a nice win over Mount Sion away. Well done to Ian Flynn and our senior hurlers on an opening nine point win over Dungarvan in the Senior Championship in Fraher Field. Level at half time, it finished 3-23 to 2-17 with twelve points from Reuben and goals from Thomas Douglas (Tonto), Jack Twomey and Eddie Meaney. Next up for the Senior hurlers is Dunhill.  Our Intermediate hurlers had a 2-21 to 2-21 draw to St Saviours in Fenor on Saturday, with some great photos by John O’ Neill on our social media. Our Junior hurlers went down 1-21 to 0-21 away to Tramore during the week Hard luck lads and to the Minors too who went down to Passage at home, 0-17 to 2-18. Next up for the Minors is Ballygunner at home on Wednesday 2nd August at 730pm.
